Research goal

The main focus of the lab is on the molecular mechanisms of morphogenesis of lipid and cellular membranes at nanoscales. We want to understand how cells create, maintain and rapidly change the shape and topology of their membranes.
Main research interests:
- Conception of novel model membrane systems
- Functional reconstitution of membrane remodelling processes
- Characterisation of protein-membrane interactions
- Double membrane remodelling
