The IBF participates in the CSIC's Second Conference on Large Researching Infrastructures
On December 2, 2025, the Institute of Biophysics (IBF) attended the CSIC's Second Conference on Major Research Infrastructures, a meeting that brought together researchers and institutional representatives to discuss the challenges and opportunities of major scientific and technological infrastructures.
The conference, held at the CSIC headquarters, was a continuation of the first edition organized in 2024 and aimed to present new developments, services, and strategies related to these infrastructures, as well as to promote the exchange of ideas and collaboration between the different agents of the scientific system.
The program included presentations on European priorities, diagnosis of technological infrastructures at the CSIC, round tables on data management and open science, and a poster exhibition showcasing notable projects in which the CSIC is involved.
Artur Escalada, Vicedirector of the IBF, CSIC scientist, and Technical Director of BRALM, attended on behalf of the IBF, reinforcing the institute's commitment to the development and integration of large-scale research networks.
