Edurne Rujas receives the "Enrique Pérez-Payá–Prospera Biotech & BCN Peptides" award for young researchers in biophysics

Dr. Edurne Rujas, Ikerbasque research fellow at the University of the Basque Country (EHU) and Co-Group Leader of the Immunobiophysics and antibody engineering Laboratory of the Instituto Biofisika, has been honored with the "Enrique Pérez-Payá–Prospera Biotech & BCN Peptides" award. This prestigious recognition celebrates the outstanding career trajectory of researchers under the age of 40 in the field of biophysics. The award highlights her significant contributions to the advancement of molecular biophysics and her innovative approach to biomedical research.

In addition to Dr. Rujas’s recognition, the "Manuel Rico–Bruker España" award for lifetime achievement in biophysics has been granted to Prof. José María Carazo of the National Center for Biotechnology (CNB-CSIC), and the "Hawk Biosystems" award for researchers under 33 has been awarded to Dr. Roger Castells-Graells of the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO).

The three awards will be presented during the annual congress of the Spanish Biophysical Society (SBE), which will take place in Madrid from June 24 to 27 this year.
