Biofisika Institute takes part in the launch of EuroBioImaging Spain
The official national Kick-off will take place in Barcelona on 20 February
On February 20, Spain will host the kick-off of Euro-BioImaging Spain, the Spanish node of Euro-BioImaging ERIC, the major European infrastructure dedicated to providing open access to advanced imaging technologies for biomedical, biological, preclinical, and clinical research. The Instituto Biofisika, contributes through the Bilbao Node of Euro-BioImaging Spain with its advanced microscopy platforms BRALM and BREM.
The event will take place at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (Barcelona) and will bring together the most relevant scientific institutions, technology nodes, authorities, and international experts in the imaging ecosystem in Europe.
Euro-BioImaging Spain integrates some of Europe's most advanced nodes in advanced optical microscopy, electron microscopy and cryo-EM, mesoscopic imaging, medical imaging, data analysis, and AI services. These include the Bilbao node, the three platforms in Barcelona (Superresolution, Mesoscopic, Live & Intravital), and the Radiology and Medical Imaging node in Valencia.
The event will include scientific sessions focusing on artificial intelligence applied to imaging, multimodal analysis, computational models, advanced optical imaging, radiology, and clinical analysis, as well as the participation of international experts from institutions such as EMBL Barcelona, ICFO, Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology, La Fe Health Research Institute, Université de Montpellier, University of Coimbra, Instituto Biofisika and other European centers.
Euro-BioImaging Spain is a unique access point for researchers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and strategic partners who require cutting-edge imaging technologies without having to invest in their own equipment, promoting innovation and scientific and industrial development in the country.
Online registration for the live broadcast of the event is still open. The access link will be provided once the request is received.
