Lorea Velasco

Lorea Velasco is a PhD student funded by a predoctoral grant from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in the Protein Folding research group led by Arturo Muga. Her research focuses on the regulation of the human disaggregase system, which plays an essential role in the reactivation of protein aggregates. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of the Basque Country, and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
