Imanol Usabiaga

Imanol Usabiaga is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Spectroscopy research group funded by a postdoctoral grant from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). His research focuses on the high-resolution gas-phase analysis of molecules and weak molecular complexes using laser spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations. Imanol is an expert in nanosecond laser spectroscopy, and before joining the IBF in 2020, he was a postdoctoral fellow for two years at the University of Bologna, working on rotational spectroscopy. He received at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) his Bachelor in Chemistry in 2011, a Master in 2012, and a PhD in 2017 in Laser Applications in Chemistry.
