Asier Etxaniz

Asier Etxaniz is a Postdoctoral researcher in Alicia Alonso´s research group. His research focuses on lipid-protein interactions in autophagy. Asier is an expert in studying stress-induced cellular processes such as autophagy and programmed cell death. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2012, a Master in Biomedicine in 2013, and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2017.
